Scottoiler & GlobeBusters

GlobeBusters have been using Scottoiler for many years now, and recently using scottoiler on the F800GS on the Silk Road - London to Beijing. Trust us you do not want to be adjusting your chain at 5000m and below freezing in Tibet. Smoother drive, longer chain life, less adjustment, how could you go without one?

Have bike, will travel the whole world…

For most people, the idea of abandoning normal life to spend eight months traveling the world is just a daydream. But for two motorcyclists from Wales not only are these epic adventures a reality, they’re a way of life. Kevin Sanders, of GlobeBusters, organizes the cross-continent expeditions with wife Julia, and happily admits he has “the best job in the world.” Now, the pair are preparing to lead the biggest group endurance ride the world has ever seen. “Discover our Earth” covers 40,000 miles (65,000km) and five continents in just under 250 days, so Kevin says they have left no element of the journey to chance.

Silk Road Riders Arrive in Beijing

London to Beijing team, the highest motorcycling group in the world!

The GlobeBusters Team have ridden 10,000 miles from London to get to Everest Base Camp across some of the most remote and treacherous terrain on the planet. It’s been a challenging trip – the bad weather in Tajikistan led to the collapse of two roads on the planned route and the revolution in Kyrgyzstan meant they could not reach the Torugart Pass to China. However, working closely with our Chinese partners, we managed to re-route the Team across the Irkeshtam Pass and they arrived in Kashgar (China) ahead of schedule, for a little taste of BBQ camel.

London to Beijing

When BMW riders Max Richard, Robert Czerucki and Aaron Sprague sit down to breakfast in North London on 17 April, it will mark the end of months of preparation for a unique motorcycling adventure across Europe, Central Asia and Western China. After a full English fry-up, the British property investor, Polish entrepreneur and American businessman will board their BMW motorcycles to start a ten-week, 17,000km journey that few riders have done before: London to Beijing, via Tibet.

Triumphant Trans Am

The 2009 Trans Americas Expedition is now over and the group of 16 riders and four pillions have made it safely to Buenos Aires, Argentina, having ridden all the way from Prudhoe Bay in Alaska during the past five months. After more than 22,000 miles (36,200 kilometres) of tough riding, the BMW bikes are getting prepared for being freighted home and the group are already making plans for returning back to their ‘normal’ lives. Everyone who started this amazing trip finished it successfully, having ridden further and through more countries than ever before.
