The fabled Silk Road traverses a formidable expanse of territory, with a rich tapestry of cultures to uncover and extraordinary roads to ride. We take the road less travelled, through countries where tourism is only in its infancy. The Pamir Highway in Tajikistan, the Tibetan Plateau and the route to Everest are just some of the extraordinary roads to ride on what is an extremely challenging and unpredictable journey, testing your abilities both on and off the bike. Once in Eastern China, the Giant Pandas, Terracotta Army and Great Wall await!

In 2014, it’s time to explore in much more depth! “Explore our Earth”, a ground breaking motorcycle journey, the like of which has never been attempted by a group of motorcyclists before. The sheer scale of this circumnavigation of the planet is phenomenal!

Riders Requirements

Riders must have a full motorcycle licence and should have a minimum of 2 years experience of riding larger bikes. Riders will be riding their own motorcycles, which need to be appropriate and adequate to ride on this type of journey.

Riders must be confident and competent road riders and whilst off-road riding experience is beneficial, it is not essential. What is more important is your own attitude to motorcycle overlanding. You need to be flexible and adaptable if the going gets tough, have the ability to take a positive view to overcome the challenges that riding in developing countries will throw at you and keep a good sense of humor and team spirit.
