Epic Expeditions

Explore our Earth - Around the World

In 2010/11, GlobeBusters led riders on a voyage of discovery around the world, on a 40,000 mile journey called “Discover our Earth”. In 2014, it’s time to explore in much more depth! “Explore our Earth”, a ground breaking motorcycle journey, the like of which has never been attempted by a group of motorcyclists before. The sheer scale of this circumnavigation of the planet is phenomenal!

Unless this changes, our inaugural expedition in 2015, will operate as "Cairo to Cape"*. Traversing Africa from it's northern Mediterranean coast to the most southern tip, Cap Agulhas. Register your interest for 2015 Cairo to Cape by follow the Email Us Link, at the bottom of the page to keep you appraised dates and prices when released.

Overland Expeditions

Explore our Earth - Southern Africa

Forming Stage 4 of Explore our Earth, Nairobi to Cape Town, this ride is the very essence of Africa, with all its challenges, frustrations, natural wonders, wildlife and tribes. Amidst the emptiness of the Skeleton Coast, the thunder of Victoria Falls, the roar from the Serengeti, the scent of Zanzibar spices or playing football on the shores of Lake Malawi, African roads will be as unpredictable, inspiring and challenging as African life itself.

Riders Requirements

Riders must have a full motorcycle licence and should have a minimum of 2 years experience of riding larger bikes. Riders will be riding their own motorcycles, which need to be appropriate and adequate to ride on this type of journey.

Riders must be confident and competent road riders and whilst off-road riding experience is beneficial, it is not essential. What is more important is your own attitude to motorcycle overlanding. You need to be flexible and adaptable if the going gets tough, have the ability to take a positive view to overcome the challenges that riding in developing countries will throw at you and keep a good sense of humor and team spirit.
