World Record Rides

World Record Rides

The rides combine our love of bikes, the excitement of foreign travel and provide a great big personal challenge. Something that tests our teamwork, resourcefulness, planning and spirit.

They are huge projects, hard work (on top of full time jobs), but we enjoy them immensely.

We have been able to use the rides to give something back to the countries we visit through raising funds for SOS Children's Villages. That gives the rides an additional sense of purpose.

AndesMake no little plans for they have no power to stir men's blood. Make big plans and aim high in hope and work.

2003 Trans Americas

With the taste of adventure being well and truly addictive, before we even arrived back at Dover from the 2002 Guinness Record Motorbike Ride, the plan for the next venture had already taken shape. After East to West "Around the World", a perfect follow up is to go North to South, through our favourite continent.

2002 World Circumnavigation

In 2002, we smashed the Guinness World Record for the Fastest Circumnavigation of the World by Motorcycle, taking 12 ½ days off the previous record. We averaged 1,000 miles a day on the bike and rode 19,461 miles in 19½ days.

Charity

We ride for SOS Children's Villages, a world wide charity that supports orphaned and abandoned children in 122 countries around the world.
